It's time to replace my pads, and the rotors are still good, so I'm going to leave those alone for now. I ordered some Axxis metallic brake pads from ConceptZPerformance, since the Stillen Metal Matrix pads are sold out at UltimateZ.com, which is where I get everything, even though they're taking a long time with my orders (and I can't wait that long to replace these pads). So I ordered these and started thinking about their advertisement. "Last four times as long as regular pads" and so on. My question is, since they're obviously a denser material (metal as compared to whatever regular pads are), will they wear down the rotor faster? And what about the Stillen Semi-metallic pads, how well do those compare when considering brake pad wear vs. rotor wear. If having metallic or semi-metallic brake pads is going to wear down the more expensive rotors, why would I even consider them, I'd be saving sh*tloads of money staying with regular pads and dealing with the normal performance. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Axxis pads, they're Kevlar with ceramic strenghtening, that's why I wonder if they're going to kill my rotors. Any input is appreciated
